Don joined the FBC Granbury team in August of 2015. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Don moved to the metroplex shortly after high school graduation and earned his bachelor degree in music and biblical studies from Arlington Baptist University, since then Don has served in north Texas churches for 40 years as a ministry associate, and in recent years as a hospice chaplain.   

Today, Don leads & coordinates the 9:30 am traditional worship service, directs the sanctuary choir, plans special music provided by quartets, trios, duets, soloists and traditional instrumentation, along with other special services throughout the year. Don and his wife, Denise, live in Cleburne, Texas;  they enjoy living near their 5 children with a growing family of 12 plus grandchildren.  Don also enjoys playing piano, arranging songs and recording from his home office, golf, hiking, travel, and watching movies with Denise.
