Thearon has been on staff at FBC since May of 2004.  He is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University (Texas State University) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Maura, homeschool their 6 children - Tessa, Caleb, Molly, Daniel, Madalyn and Elijah. Prior to serving at FBC-Granbury, Thearon served at First Baptist Church of Ocala, FL; Woodland Baptist Church in Bradenton, FL; and First Baptist Church of Jensen Beach, FL.

When he's not working he can usually be found doing one of the following activities: helping his wife around the house, writing/arranging music, editing photos, creating videos and playing with his iPad. He is a huge Star Trek fan (but he doesn't have any costumes!), loves to read and takes great pleasure in baking cookies.

Aaron joined FBC as the interim student pastor in January 2011 and was called to full time in June 2011.  Aaron grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and played football for the University of West Georgia.  After college, a good friend invited Aaron to church, and after a few years of discipleship and growth, Aaron felt God calling him to ministry.

Aaron moved to Texas in January 2008 to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received his Masters of Arts in Christian Education.  He met and married a beautiful Texan gal, Sarah, in July 2009.  Aaron and Sarah recently welcomed their firstborn, Brackston, into the world, and spend their free time enjoying this new bundle of joy.
